
A three-year collaboration between scientists, property managers, nonprofits, and government agencies has produced a new suite of integrated pest management (IPM) resources for multi-unit housing. Dr. Geiger will cover the basics of IPM for property managers and introduce these new tools, including video trainings, templates, policies, posters, and more.

Presented by:
Chris Geiger, Ph.D.
Dr. Geiger has over 30 years of experience in integrated pest management and applied ecology. He led San Francisco’s IPM Program (2003–2022), helping incorporate pest-preventive design into nearly 4,000 affordable housing units, and contributed to California’s Sustainable Pest Management Roadmap. He also led development of the Pest Prevention By Design Guidelines and has worked with UC Berkeley, the California Department of Pesticide Regulation, and international pesticide reduction programs.
