Managing rental property in Los Angeles just got harder.

In the past two weeks, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and Los Angeles City Council adopted new laws that dramatically impact how you provide housing in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors extended the eviction moratorium through March 31, 2023, for ALL rental units across the county.

The Los Angeles City Council, meanwhile, moved to adopt new limits on evictions, new restrictions on rent increases for ALL rental units in the city that aren’t rent controlled, and to redefine what it takes for a tenant to be considered late on their rent.

It’s complicated and frustrating, and there’s a lot to learn.
