Employees in the rental housing industry and most other California businesses no longer have to wear masks indoors if they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
In addition to loosening mask rules, California has removed physical-distancing requirements in the workplace. The changes are part of the latest version of the COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standards, which the Cal/OSHA board approved Thursday and which took effect almost immediately thanks to an executive order from Gov. Newsom.
