After hearing from CAA and its members, Contra Costa County supervisors this week rejected a proposal that would have banned at-fault evictions and expanded the county’s COVID-19 eviction moratorium to tenants who violate their lease.
The 4-1 vote Tuesday came after four hours of public debate, including an overwhelming number of public testimonies from rental housing providers.
