Updated compliance information on CDC eviction moratorium also available
The California Apartment Association has published answers to the most frequently asked questions about the $25 billion rental-assistance fund included in the recently enacted federal stimulus bill.
The Industry Insight paper addresses issues such as:
- How the funds will be allocated among the 50 states
- What the funds will be used for
- Who is eligible for help
It is not yet clear how state and local governments will distribute the money. CAA will update this FAQ as more details emerge.

CAA has also updated its Industry Insight paper on the CDC eviction moratorium. The order had been slated to expire at the end of 2020, but the federal stimulus bill extended it to Jan. 31, 2021.
