Limits on rent increases have again been triggered due to severe wildfires raging in Northern California. On Friday, Gov. Newsom declared a new state of emergency for Plumas County due to the Gold Complex Fire and in Butte and Tehama counties due to the Park Fire. As of Saturday, these fires together have burned more than 350,000 acres, and the Park Fire has destroyed 134 structures.
