The California Apartment Association (CAA) strongly believes that education is at the heart of its mission as a trade association. Education helps individual members to better manage their properties and to increase the return on their investments. In addition, education of the industry as a whole leads to less regulation and intrusion by government agencies that establish stringent laws designed to regulate uneducated and unethical property owners and managers, but that apply to all.

There is a great demand for qualified rental housing professionals. With property values and owners’ liability on the rise, untrained housing providers present an increasing vulnerability for owners, management companies, residents, and the community. Rental property ownership and management can be very rewarding – when the tools to be successful are available. CAA strives to provide these tools to individuals at all levels of the rental housing industry, and to promote property management as a viable and gratifying profession. Our complete list of active CCRM Managers is updated regularly.

CAA’s nine-part Property Management Series qualifies students for a California Certified Residential Manager (CCRM) credential and is our flagship educational series.  When you complete our CCRM series, you will have the skills to effectively manage rental property. The courses provide training in all aspects of rental property management, giving you the skills you need to do business efficiently, effectively and in compliance with California law.  You’ll also stand among a select group of professionals recognized throughout the rental housing industry.
