The California Apartment Association has published a series of compliance materials to help its members abide by newly passed rent and eviction control ordinances in the city of Santa Ana.
The measures took effect Nov. 19, one month after being ratified by the Santa Ana City Council.
The rent control ordinance caps rent increases on affected properties at either 3% or 80% of the change in CPI, whichever is lower.
