The California Apartment Association and its members spoke out Monday night against a slate of burdensome and unnecessary proposals to further regulate the rental housing industry in Palo Alto.
At the meeting, city staff urged the City Council to adopt a laundry list of policies ranging from stricter rent control, a broader application of “just cause” and a rent registry.
