Question: I own two properties as an individual and am wondering how the exemptions from AB 1482 for single-family homes and owner-occupied duplexes apply.  

Property 1: Single-family home, built in 1950. I am considering building an ADU on this parcel. 

Property 2: Duplex in the front. Cottage at the back of the lot. Both structures are more than 50 years old. I live in the duplex.
