Gov. Newsom has declared a state of emergency in an additional 21 California counties in response to a series of storms forecasted to continue through mid-March.

Newsom’s latest declaration, issued Wednesday, March 8, names the following counties: Butte, El Dorado, Fresno, Humboldt, Imperial, Inyo, Lake, Mendocino, Merced, Monterey, Napa, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Mateo Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Stanislaus, Tuolumne and Yuba.
