CAA remains committed to ending the COVID-19 eviction moratorium in Los Angeles County and will fight to make sure last month’s 11th hour extension of the pandemic-era restrictions is the last.

The moratorium had been scheduled to end Jan. 31, however, a week prior, the Board of Supervisors voted to keep the restrictions in effect through March 31, 2023, an addition of 60 days. The board also made a last-minute extension of the moratorium in December.

It could have been worse this time.
