As reported by the California Apartment Association last week, the City of Los Angeles recently asked the U.S. Supreme Court to reject a petition for review in the GHP Management v. City of Los Angeles case, which challenges the constitutionality of the city’s COVID-era eviction moratorium. Notably absent from the city’s brief was any mention of the then-ongoing debate over whether the city would adopt a new eviction moratorium.
