The Concord City Council will continue deliberations on potential changes to the city’s rent control ordinance at its meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25, after hearing nearly four hours of testimony earlier this month.

The discussion will center on whether to amend the city’s rent cap formula—currently one of the strictest in California—and whether to exempt single-family homes and condominiums from “just cause” eviction rules.
