The last remaining governor-declared state of emergency in California, issued in response to the Boyles Fire in Lake County, expired at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29. With this expiration, California no longer has any active statewide emergency declarations, marking the first time in several months that no such proclamations are in place.
