Rental housing professionals looking to strengthen their skills and advance their careers can enroll in the California Apartment Association’s 2026 Property Management Series beginning March 4.
Offered via Zoom from 2–5 p.m. on select Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through March 27, the comprehensive series is designed to prepare participants to earn the California Certified Residential Manager credential. Your instructor will teach live on video so you can see, hear, and ask questions in real time. The full series includes nine modules and a final exam.
The training covers the full lifecycle of rental property management, from preparing a unit for lease to handling renewals, maintenance, budgeting and fair housing compliance. Participants will receive practical instruction on topics including screening applicants, managing security deposits, complying with rent caps and just cause requirements, handling three-day notices and overseeing maintenance operations.

The full series is priced at $699 for members and $999 for nonmembers. Individual courses are available for $89 for members and $119 for nonmembers.
Those who earn the CCRM credential must complete 12 hours of continuing education every other year, including two hours in fair housing, and submit a renewal application and fee before the certificate expires.
