CAA’s 2019 Legislative Conference

May 29 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

CAA’s 2019 Legislative Conference is SOLD OUT!

You are a member of one of the most influential interest groups in the state. On May 29, tap into its collective energy at the California Apartment Association’s Legislative Conference, the association’s most anticipated event of the year.

Join your peers in Sacramento to educate lawmakers about the important service you provide to California’s citizens and why rental housing is vital to the state.  Attending CAA’s Legislative Conference is one of the most important things you can do for the advancement of your business — and for the rental housing industry.

Despite CAA’s success stopping Proposition 10 (the statewide rent control measure) in November, legislation has already been introduced this year that would extend rent controls and impose additional regulations on the industry. Your attendance in May is extremely important.

Become an effective advocate for the rental housing industry at the state level and in your community by learning:

  • This year’s legislative priorities in Sacramento.
  • What shapes Sacramento politics.
  • Where the California rental housing industry stand on various issues?
  • What you can do personally to help promote and advocate of behalf of the industry.

Conference Code of Conduct

Attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers participating in the 2019 CAA Legislative Conference are required to abide by our Conference Code of Conduct, which prohibits inappropriate behavior, including harassment, intimidation, sustained interruptions of talks, or inappropriate physical contact. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event.  Attendees violating these rules may be expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
