Two Alameda County supervisors last week expressed interest in creating a rental-reimbursement program to compensate housing providers who’ve been excluded from COVID-19 emergency rental assistance. 

Supervisors Nate Miley and David Haubert expressed their support for the idea during a Board of Supervisors Planning Committee meeting. On Nov. 10, the committee received an update from the county’s Community Development Agency (CDA) on the county’s nearly three-year eviction moratorium and its impacts.
