Informational Notice of COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act of 2020

The COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act (CTRA) required landlords to send an informational notice that includes statutorily required language to any residents who, as of September 1, 2020, have not paid one or more rental payments that came due between March 1, 2020 and August 31, 2020. The notice must have been sent by September 30, 2020. This form was used to comply with the requirement.

SB 91 enacted an amendment to CTRA that requires the landlord to send a NEW informational notice about the law to residents by February 28, 2021. To comply with this requirement, use CAA’s Informational Notice of COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act Extension And New Rental Assistance Program (Form CA-405).
