CAA South Coast officially becomes CAA Orange County

For the second time this fall, a division of the California Apartment Association has formally changed its name to more clearly reflect the region it serves.

CAA South Coast is now CAA Orange County. Melinda Graham, chairwoman of the division, announced the official new name during the division’s annual meeting Dec. 5.

The announcement came just a few weeks after the association announced that CAA-AAGIE is now CAA Greater Inland Empire. News of this name change came at CAA Greater Inland Empire’s Tapped & Uncorked event.

As part of a statewide rebranding initiative, each CAA division reassessed its name. Stay tuned for the announcement of more name changes in the months to come.

The name-change announcement was just one facet of CAA Orange County’s annual meeting. Other highlights included the installation of incoming Chairman Kelly McCunniff, recognition of Capture the Market’s Darcy Wagner, who received the President’s Special Service Award, and a speech by Assemblyman Donald Wagner.
