In this month’s election, the California Apartment Association’s efforts helped elect candidates to the state Legislature and to city councils who understand the challenges facing the rental housing industry and who will work on balanced, pragmatic solutions to the state’s housing crisis.

And, voters overwhelmingly rejected onerous ballot measures that would have restricted the ability to build and maintain affordable homes.

Through its political action committees, including CAAPAC, the association backed candidates for state Assembly and state Senate, as well as for local offices across California, who support the rental housing industry and understand the vital role it plays in the state’s economy.
