  • Berkeley Business Continuity Grants: The City of Berkeley has launched the Berkeley Business Continuity Grants, an emergency relief fund with an allocation of $1 million to help mitigate COVID-19 related financial losses that Berkeley’s small businesses have suffered. To apply, complete an online application form.   • Berkeley Arts Organization Continuity Grants: The City of Berkeley has launched the Berkeley Arts Organization Continuity Grants, an emergency relief fund with an allocation of $1 million to help mitigate COVID-19 related financial losses that Berkeley’s arts organizations have suffered. Through this program the City of Berkeley is making grants of up to $25,000 available to Berkeley-based nonprofit arts organizations as early gap funding to help stabilize these organizations as they grapple with the initial financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.   • Berkeley’s COVID-19 Housing Retention Grants: Berkeley’s Housing Retention Program provides grant assistance to Berkeley residents at risk of eviction. Approved households can receive up to $5,000 as a one-time grant, and an additional one-time grant of up to $10,000 during the specified COVID-19 emergency. If you meet the eligibility criteria and wish to apply, contact East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) at (510) 548-4040, and dial ext. 695.   • Oakland Undocumented Relief Fund (O.U.R): O.U.R. Fund is a relief fund for workers who live or work in Oakland, have lost their jobs or had their hours cut as a result of the Coronavirus and the shelter in place orders, and are ineligible for unemployment insurance and federal relief programs. O.U.R. Fund is a project of Centro Legal de la Raza. To apply, an online form be submitted to be added to a waitlist for a $500 relief grant. The online form is also available in Spanish.
